For lore nuts like myself, the Encyclopedia Eorzea fills in those gaps. Whether that be more mundane facts about a culture’s diet or exciting locations that, for whatever reason, the Warrior of Light will never visit. Despite spending so much time in Final Fantasy XIV’s world, there’s a lot to know about the setting that simply doesn’t make it into the game proper.
